Welcome to REME-Indians

REME-Indians is a body of former REME servicemen in Malaysia and an informal gathering of members for the purpose of mutual advancement of its members as well as service to the community.

The group is here to foster and promote comradeship with former REME servicemen and those that are still serving.

Announcing the REME-Indians 2011 Reunion in Penang

  The committee is pleased to inform that the organizers REME Indians REUNION for 2011 has identified and decided that the venue and date for the reunion is as follows: 

Date: 16-18 December 2011

Venue: Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel

Thus members of the organizing committee have decided that the fees including meals for two days will be charged are as follows:

  • 1. Family of less than 4 people - RM 400
  • 2. More than 4 persons - an extra RM 100 will be charged for each family
  • 3. Single - RM 250 

However, the total actual costs will be announced on the register if there are changes in time.

Confirmation of attendance must be made before 30 November 2011 and should include only partially deposit of RM 200 for a family, and RM 100 for single.

Advances shall be credited to the account Maj. Govind through Maybank account 112745020306. 

With this preliminary information, it is hoped all members of REME Indians can make early preparations from now so that the organizers have no problem the last moment.

Our History              

Growing Up and Still Counting

The group was founded in year 2003 by Major Govindasamy Krishnasamy; who had the vision to keep those who have served in or with REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) in touch with one another with a view to keeping alive a spirit of comradeship and to establish links between the serving and former service of the corps.

 

We would like to recognize and thank our longstanding members who have been supporting us throughout the years.
